RITORNO A NAPOLI is the first album by Virginia Mancaniello. A true 'return to Naples' for the No-Lounge vocalist, who, unable to resist the invitation of Papik—an icon of Nu-jazz/Soul music and the album's producer—continues to reinterpret the most popular Neapolitan arias. The Nu-jazz, chillout, disco, and bossa nova atmospheres typical of Papik’s unmistakable style, along with Virginia’s Mediterranean voice, serve as the glue for a repertoire of 14 songs written over more than two centuries, from ancient composers to Pino Daniele. The album, set to become a new cult favorite, will be available in all stores and on all digital platforms starting September 20, 2024.
