The Alternative Soundtrack for the upcoming Christmas!
Bringing the warmth of summer into the midst of winter is Frank Nemola's goal for the next Christmas. His Rasta Claus gathers, in a new reggae interpretation, some of the most well-known international Christmas songs and hits that share the simplicity and the desire to feel good that characterize Christmas. Frank Nemola, a recognized trumpet player and producer through his numerous collaborations (from Vasco Rossi to Frankie HI-NRG, from Luca Carboni to Aeroplanitaliani, with whom he already won the critics' award at the Sanremo Festival in '92), transforms the project initially conceived by Cristina Annovi and Claudio Dardi as a live event in support of the ANT Foundation into an album, involving stage and life friends, from the voices of Simona Galeandro, Marco "El V" Vecchi, and Francesca Taverni, to the guitars of Paolo La Ganga and Dario Comuzzi.
In addition to the eleven hits featured in the album (from "Last Christmas" to "What a Wonderful World," from "Frosty the Snowman" to "Love Is in the Air"), there is the unreleased "Christmas Time in Jamaica," written for the occasion by Frank himself with Marco "El V" Vecchi, dedicated to all those people in the world who are not fortunate enough to celebrate Christmas.
