The new album takes its name from the popular song by Kurt Weill, emphasizing the softness expressed in the arrangements and the unmistakable dark and deep timbre of the singer from Modena. Accompanied by an exceptional quartet (featuring Nico Menci on piano, Marco Bovi on guitar, Luca Pisani on double bass, and Vittorio Sicbaldi on drums), the album presents reinterpretations of a selection of standard repertoire from the international jazz culture. Eleven tracks ranging from swing to bossa nova, including "Get Out of Town," "No Moon at All," "The Best Is Yet to Come," and "Wives and Lovers." The title track of the album also features Marco Ferri on tenor saxophone.
