The eclectic singer Evi Mair, always balancing between rock and jazz music, has always said, 'I am in love with Christmas and the music that accompanies it during this special time of year, so rich in lights and hope.' The jazz character is prevalent in this Waiting for Christmas, conceived and created together with pianist Michele Giro. The album features thirteen of the most representative German and American Christmas songs, reimagined and performed through the arrangements of the two artists. Alongside Evi Mair and Michele Giro, we also have Marco Stagni on bass, Roman Hinteregger on drums, and the extraordinary participation of Georg Malfertheiner on vibraphone.
