Marianne Gubri

Harpist Marianne Gubri combines an original and unique musical journey to a personal development research. She studied at a very young age the celtic harp in Brittany before dedicating herself to the ancient harp, graduating at the conservatory and in musicology in France. She completed her studies at the International Harp Therapy Program in USA, developing the potential of sound, modes and rhythms on the human body and psyche. Based in Italy, she took part in numerous formations playing all over the world (Europe, USA, China, Dubai, Brazil and Mexico) with classical, ancient and traditional music projects, combining unpublished repertoires with her own compositions. Artistic director of the Bologna Harp Festival, she passionately combines her activity as a musician with that of a teacher in international courses.
