Paolo Tomelleri is an Italian saxophonist, clarinetist, and bandleader.

He began as a self-taught musician, developing a passion for jazz from a young age. He later moved to Milan, where he came into contact with Bruno De Filippi, with whom he performed in several ensembles (such as the Windy City Stompers) in Milanese venues like Santa Tecla.

In 1959, he joined the Cavalieri, with Enzo Jannacci on piano, Gian Franco Reverberi on vibraphone, Luigi Tenco on sax, and Nando de Luca on keyboards. With this group, he participated in many recordings for Dischi Ricordi, including many records by I Due Corsari, Giorgio Gaber, and Tenco himself.

He then played in many other ensembles, including Ghigo e i Goghi, the band that accompanied Ghigo Agosti in the first half of the 1960s.
