Heat

Heat, the new production by pianist and composer Claudio Vignali, created together with bassist Blake Franchetto and featuring the extraordinary participation of Dave Weckl, one of the most celebrated drummers on the international scene.

The piece was born in the midst of the pandemic, when sudden isolation forced artists to reinvent their ways of expressing themselves. Heat is the result of this challenge: three musicians in different places, connected only by music and by the desire to keep creating, sharing, and expressing themselves.

Today, in a context of regained normality, Heat not only tells the story of that season of resilience but also celebrates the strength of artistic connections that, overcoming distances, made the birth of authentic and vibrant works possible.
