Described by critics as “a pianist endowed with a stunning technique of extraordinary classical foundation, with a touch full of colors” (A. Tenni), and as “a pianist of great interpretative skills” (Montreux International Jazz Piano Competition). He is one of the winners of the top prize at the most important international competition for jazz piano: the Parmigiani Montreux International Jazz Piano Solo Competition 2013, where he had previously been selected among 10 jazz pianists under 30 worldwide. In the classical field, he won the Lions Italia competition in 2011 with a program including works by Rachmaninoff, Ravel, Beethoven, and Bach. He graduated in both classical and jazz piano with highest honors from the Conservatories of Ferrara and Adria. He has performed and collaborated with some of the most important international artists, including: Dave Weckl, Joe Locke, Gretchen Parlato, Rob Mazurek, Michel Godard, Shawnn Monteiro, Lucy Woodward (Snarky Puppy), Emanuele Cisi, Eivind Aarset, Arne Hiorth, Tiger Okoshi, Fabrizio Bosso, Flavio Boltro, Javier Girotto, Ugonna Okegwo, and many others.
