L'italiano

It's called 'L'ITALIANO (Stress Free Italian Jazz)' and it's created in collaboration with Bolognese singer Elena Giardina, who is the featured soloist in all ten tracks that complete the tracklist. It's a jazz reinterpretation and a wonderful journey through some of the most beautiful words and famous melodic phrases of the repertoire of the great Italian songs of the last century. These songs need no introduction, they are works of the greatest authors and composers in the Italian scene, from Martino to Califano, from Endrigo to Modugno, from Paoli to Renis, and others. With a subtle and detailed use of electronics, accompanied by swing, bossa, and Latin jazz arrangements, Elena's voice is joined by Bolcato on trumpet, Nico Menci on piano, Marco Marzola on double bass, and Andrea Oboe on drums.
